St Patrick’s Country

The legacy St Patrick left behind can be found throughout the country in its stunning cathedrals and ancient monastic ruins.

On this full day tour, you can follow the tale of the former slave and explore his life and works.  Starting in Downpatrick, where his mission to spread Christianity began, you visit The St. Patrick’s Centre, the only permanent showcase in the world dedicated to Ireland’s patron saint.

From there you will be taken to see the saint’s final resting place beside the stunning Down Cathedral, before making your way to the Down County Museum, a restored 18th century gaol.
